English underpants
Men's underpants, belonging
probably to an English king Charles II, were pleated at the waist,
with a sewn-in waist-band. The front opening extended down
approximately 20 cm and was kept closed at the waist with a single
button. This piece is dated to the 1st half of the
17th century and is currently located in Westminster abbey.
